AUSTEN KNAPMAN'S STEEL SHOP OPENS FOR BUSINESS! ETL News: Thursday 17th July 2008     ETL are today delighted to announce the launch of local Steel Stockholder Austen Knapman's e-commerce web site. The site, designed and hosted by ETL - Torbay's Technology Company, has been custom designed to cope with a complex range of steel pieces which Austen Knapman want to offer to the general public. "For too long now, individuals requiring single or small quantities of steel have had no choice but to travel to a local steel stockholder and arrange for delivery themselves but we're thrilled to be able to launch our site today which takes all the hard work out of ordering steel pieces" commented Steve Knapman, Managing Director of the Paignton-based firm. "We're really pleased with the store that ETL have created" continued Steve "as it will allow us to launch a number of product ranges ourselves without the need for expensive management or update fees. Although we're launching with just under 1,000 products at present, we'll be planning to add hundreds more in the coming weeks and months, according to demand". ETL's Managing Director Danny Corder said "When Austen Knapman first approached us about the project, we were impressed with their vision and the thought they had put into the site. We think we've delivered the vision and look forward now to seeing the project go from strength to strength.". The new shop can be found at www.akmetalshop.co.uk.
